Featherboard Pattern

I made my featherboard from some 1/2″ thick plastic I had purchased from a surplus pile at a local hardware store.

    That is really cool! I don’t have the mechanical skill to be able to fabricate things like this, so I thoroughly admire those who do.

    I’ve made similar featherboards out of the same material. I think it’s HDPE(High-Density Polythylene). Some kitchen cutting boards are made of this and I pick up old ones from yard sales, junk stores, ect. for a dollar or less usually. Sand the knife marks out and make featherboards and push sticks. Good stuff.
