Mess of Computer Parts

I am in the middle of building a new computer and sifting through my old computer parts trying to decide what is useful and what has outlived it’s usefulness.  I am hoping that I will have enough spare parts that I can build a Mythtv box to try to hook up to my television and experiment with.  If you don’t see any new postings for a while it means that I didn’t fare so well in this project.

My wife and I found some fun drawer pulls on sale while out shopping and we decided to use them to spruce up the look of an old dresser in one of our guest rooms.  It was an inexpensive way to make  it feel new and fun again.  The only bad thing is that this has now inspired us to add a coat of paint the the dresser.DRESSER

Snowman

Yes, it is a real snowman!  The weather was beautiful today in our cold northern climate and the snow was sticky enough that we could roll ourselves a snowman.  My daughter and I had a lot of fun making this frozen fellow with two eyes made out of coal.  If the weather holds out maybe we can build a snow fort in the next couple of days.

Completed Stove

The stove that I posted a hand drawing of in the Putting Ideas on Paper posting is finally finished. And my daughter loves it! I took a lot of pictures while building it and I will post just exactly how I built the stove during future postings. I just had to put up a picture of the completed project because I am so excited about how great it turned out!!!
